Legendary Beatle Sir Paul McCartney has surprised the world by proposing to his longtime acquaintance and girlfriend of four years, Nancy Shevell. The two have known each other for quite sometime, meeting years ago in the Hamptons where they each own homes.Many were surprised to see McCartney heading down the aisle again, in the wake of his nightmareish divorce from Heather Mills. That's not the most surprising part, though. Despite his $24 million mistake of foregoing a prenup with Heather Mills, McCartney is not getting one with Shevell, either. However, Shevell is rich in her own right, being the Vice President of her father's $500 million trucking business. Shevell also happens to be the cousin of reporter Barbara Walters.
